Climate change is a real phenomenon. Ocean temperatures are rising and the ice caps are melting causing shifts in weather patterns leading to more extreme conditions. This is a situation that needs to be addressed proactively. What can we do to mitigate damage from future climate disasters? What are the challenges for urban planning? What are the costs? And who should take the lead: government or the private sector or a partnership? Michael Robinson has tackles these issues with his guests: Dr. Nina Lam, Steve Valk, Joel Kotkin and John Elkington.
Dr. Nina Lam – Abraham Distinguished Professor of Louisiana Environmental Studies, LSU
Steve Valk – communications director, Citizens Climate Lobby
Joel Kotkin – fellow, Chapman University; author; columnist
